Mr. Smidler is an Engineer and Consultant with 31 years experience in the Truck Trailer Industry, the last 22 years with the largest semi-trailer manufacturer in North America. His responsibilities have included product development, design analysis, cost savings initiatives, testing, product liability and reliability, mechanical equipment failure analysis, warranty support, accident investigation, litigation support, Federal regulation compliance, Government contracts and Engineering Department management.
Wabash National is a leading manufacturer of semi-trailers in North America. It was founded in1985 and has produced up to 70,000 trailers per year. It is known for being the leader in product innovation.
